The party, reeling from Tumnas getting thwacked decides to negotiate with the thulls. In doing so, they learn that the thulls serve Zargon and the party decides to dime out Milius to them, since thulls care more about cultists than others. Because they are being dickheads, Milius attempts to cast a spell, color spray, which backfires spectacularly as his attempt fails and he casts it on himself, rendering him blind. The party runs away as his screaming and mauling fills their ears. The party advances down a spooky hallway and encounter either a holographic or haunting image of King Alexander and Queen Zenobia. Eventually they come to some sort of staging room which, they learn, has some bladed pendulum traps. They triggered every single one of the traps on their way to investigate a large hole in the wall at the other end of the room. Lucky them, this place is ancient and their reflexes are good, so all they got was some green, greasy goop on them. The rock lobster (rust monster) decided to nom nom the traps. Seeing that the hole is large enough to fit through, they do so, hoping it doesn't collapse on them. It appears this tunnel was either not a part of the original structure or was supposed to be collapsed. They end up in a large, elaborate tomb where all the items have been ritually broken. They spent a lot of time investigating, and a very large lizard ended up coming down the tunnel, the way the party had come from. Was it hungry? Is this its lair? Why is everything in this room a fake? Questions unanswered, but its bulk did end up breaking one of the sarocophogi, which revealed a well made sword. Opening the other sarcophagus revealed a companion sword, and both swords talked, nay, yelled, of needing to eliminate nearby evil (🎣)
